... is starting back up tomorrow... NOOOOOOOOOO! God I hate school, I hate school, I HATE SCHOOL!*breathes hard* And it's senior year of high school...It's not that I'm unhappy about high school ending, because high school kind of sucks *ss... and it's not that I'm not looking forward to college... it's just that... I don't wanna grow up... It's all happening too fast... at least I'll be able to vote soon, right? *sigh*... Too soon...
I'm sorry
I just wanted to say I'm so sorry for not only just not being on here, but for... in a way, abandoning some people on here... I'm so sorry... life took over and... well you know.... I just feel terrible about that... I hope to post more soon, but with university being university, I don't know when that'll finally be. In the mean time, I do occasionally post updates here: https://twitter.com/DrawingRyuu I also occasionally hold drawing polls on my main twitter account: https://twitter.com/DancingRyuu I'm much more active on Twitter than here, for better or for worse. :P Anyway, I hope you guys are doing alright. :)
Question about Re-draws
Okay, first of all, so sorry for being inactive on here! Second of all, I got myself a FurAffinity Account https://www.furaffinity.net/user/thedancingdragoness/ (faves may be spicy!) And finally, the reason for this journal, I'd like to know what you guys think... at what point is a re-draw no longer a real re-draw? Like at what point is a "re-draw" so different from the original that it's something else entirely? And what would you call such a piece? You see, I've been wanting to do a re-draw for a LONG time, especially for one work in particular, but I've run into a bit of an "issue". The image I have in mind for the "re-draw" is so different from the original, I wonder if it'll even be fair to call it a re-draw... what do you guys think?
Adjusting and Art Studies
This is gonna be super disjointed, but I don't care. First of all, getting used to the new dA has been... a little weird, but not too bad overall. Second of all, that post about no more submissions is for a group I'm trying to get deleted, but is still up for whatever reason and I find its appearance on my page to be incredibly misleading. Third, I updated the speed paint for this piece for anyone who gives a flying f*ck. Fourth, I'm working on some art studies/practices that will hopefully have youtube videos in which I talk attached to them and I was wondering... do you guys think I should put them in my main gallery or in scraps? Genuine question. I want people to see my progress and the videos, but they aren't completed works per se. What do you guys think? By the way, I hope you all are doing well during this quarantine.

Yeah, make all the memories you can. I still look back fondly on my high school days, would do them over in a second if I could.
